A Nigerian lady has opened up about why she took a sick leave from work and what unfolded afterward.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), @Priye644455 disclosed she took the leave to embark on a vacation with her boyfriend.
According to the X user, she was cuddling her boyfriend at the beach, suddenly she received a notification about being issued a query.
In her now-viral tweet, what left her stunned was that she hadn’t posted photos from her vacation online yet.
Eventually, she discovered a close associate she trusted notified the management.
Detailing how she handled the situation, the X user stated, “I called her immediately, and she couldn’t even deny it. That betrayal hurt more than the query itself because I genuinely trusted her” .
OG United remarked, “Sick leave to cuddle on the beach? Bold. But the universe said ‘not on my watch’ with that office notification.Next time just say you caught a serious case of ‘boyfriend withdrawal”.
Vintage Zachi wrote, “That must have felt stressful. You deserve rest but clarify with your office calmly when you’re back and ready to avoid misunderstandings going forward”.
Bitcoin Ways added, “The office query might pass, but betrayal from someone you trusted is the part that really stays with you.Still, don’t let one person ruin the peace you went there to find. Enjoy your vacation and handle the rest when you’re back”.
Jackson urged,“Stay away from bad friend, make sure to blocked and delete too”.
