“I used to toast girls every week so they could cook for me” — Jim Iyke recalls university days

Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has shared a humorous story about how his inability to cook influenced his dating life while he was a university student.

The actor revealed that he would deliberately pursue women who could cook for him, only to end the relationships after getting what he wanted.

According to Jim Iyke, the unusual strategy became a regular occurrence until he was eventually caught, after which his reputation among women in his department suffered.

Recalling the experience, Jim Iyke said, “The only thing I don’t know how to do in this life is cooking.”

Jim Iyke said, “In university, I used to toast girls every week so they could cook for me.”

He added that the relationships often did not last beyond the meals he wanted, saying, “Once she finished cooking, I’d break up with her.”

According to the actor, his plan eventually backfired when his classmates discovered what he had been doing.

Jim Iyke concluded the story by revealing the consequence of being exposed, saying, “The day I was caught, the whole department stopped giving me a chance.”
