IAEA Raises Alarm Over Potential Israeli Strike on Iran’s Nuclear Facilities

ABUJA, Nigeria – April 16, 2024 – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has expressed growing concern about the possibility of an Israeli military strike targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities. This heightened tension follows a recent attack by Iran on Israel and ongoing disagreements over Iran’s nuclear program.

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the IAEA, voiced these concerns after Iran temporarily closed its nuclear facilities “for security reasons” following their attack on Israel.
