“If you like, allow social media to destroy your marriage” – Married lady to couples

A Nigerian married lady has advised married couples against allowing opinions and trends on social media to negatively influence their relationships.

In a video making the rounds online, the woman declared that she would continue to respect and support her husband regardless of what people on the internet had to say about marriage.

‘Allow Social Media to Destroy Your Marriage’

The woman urged people to be careful about taking relationship advice from social media, arguing that some online opinions could create unnecessary problems between couples.

“If you like, allow social media to destroy your marriage for you. Let me tell you, you see my husband, I will respect him to the fullest,” she said.

She added that she was willing to do whatever her husband needed from her, regardless of criticism from others.

“Anything he wants, I will give it to him. I don’t care what people have to say,” she stated.

‘I Don’t Care What People Have to Say’

According to the woman, social media has created an environment where people are frequently told what they should or should not do in their marriages.

“Yes, because once you come to the internet, the only thing you hear is, ‘Me, I cannot do this thing,’” she said.

She suggested that some of the people who publicly claim they would never make certain sacrifices for their spouses may behave differently in their private lives.

“Let me tell you, deep down those people are doing it,” she added.

‘If My Husband Needs My Kidney’

The lady then used organ donation to emphasise the extent of the sacrifices she was willing to make for her husband.

“You see me, if my husband needs my kidney, I will give it to him,” she said.

She went even further, saying she would be willing to give both kidneys if that was what her husband needed.

“Yes, that’s the bare minimum. I can give my husband my kidney, even if he wants the two,” she stated.
