As per the mandates of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to connect the waiting metering hole through the new Meter Asset Providers (MAP) activity, Ikeja Electric Plc (IE) has proclaimed aims to take off around 100,000 prepaid meters under the plan from June seventeenth around the Ikorodu specialty unit.

As per IE, the new association with New Hampshire Capital restricted, a MAP, would encourage the arrangement of the meters to cover three specialty units, (Ikorodu, Abule Egba and Shomolu), which is viewed as the stage one after which another three, (Oshodi, Ikeja and Akowonjo) would fall under the stage two of the plan.

As indicated by the Acting Chief Commercial Officer IE, Ugo obichukwu at the dispatch in Lagos on Moday, more than 400,000 under IE are unmetered, including that it is the more motivation behind why the organization looks to cover between 70 to 100,000 clients for the stage one of the MAP execution.
