The mother of four who was born to a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother disagrees with those who feel she has been stereotyped as an actress.
Nadia Buari, the Ghanaian actress, has appeared in a lot of movies in the course of her career, with her playing the role of a lover girl in many of them.
However, the mother of four who was born to a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother disagrees with those who feel she has been stereotyped as an actress.
She told Sunday Scoop, “I don’t think I have been stereotyped. Right from the genesis of my career, I have acted different roles. I have played the role of a blind person and I have also acted the role of an armed robber. I have played the role of a lover girl too. But, a lot of times, people see me as a lover girl.”
Asked if movie producers focused on her beauty at the expense of her talent when she started acting, Buari said, “I wouldn’t know about that. I am not sure about that.”
