Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku is a major doubt forth clash against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The clash remained a must-win for both sides after a disappointing start to the campaign this season, Real Madrid had just a point from their last two games in the Champions League while Inter Milan earned two points having drawn their last two games against Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Belgian attacker suffered a knock in the mid-week clash against the Ukrainian Champions during their clash on Tuesday.

After undergoing a test ion Wednesday it was confirmed that he has an issue.
“Romelu Lukaku underwent an MRI scan at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano this morning following a problem that arose during Tuesday’s Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk,” an Inter statement started.

“The scans showed that he has suffered a strain in his left thigh. His condition will be monitored daily.”

The former Manchester United star will miss the clash against Parma this weekend, it is reported in the Italian media that he could also miss the Real Madrid match.
