Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu has reaffirmed his support for the people of Israel as he continues to condemn the October 7th attack by Hamas terrorists.

In a series of posts on Instagram stories, Ogu insists that he would continue to stand for Israel, before slamming people peddling “fake news” online about the Jewish people and Israel.

The football star also dared those insulting him online over his support for Israel to face him in person.

The war began after Hamas militants stormed Israeli towns and kibbutzes from the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7. In Hamas’ rampage, some 1,400 Israelis, mainly civilians, were killed and 229 were taken hostage.

In response, Israel carried out airstrikes before troops and tanks poured into Gaza in a ground assault.

As of Tuesday, as many as 9,400 people have been killed in the war on both sides, including at least 1,400 Israeli civilians and soldiers and 33 Americans.
