Jaipur: Drunken Tourist from Himachal Pradesh Creates Public Ruckus, Strips Naked and Throws Stones at Bystanders

Reports indicate that after a sightseeing trip, the woman — allegedly heavily intoxicated — got into a heated argument with her cab driver. The situation escalated rapidly: she reportedly smashed the rear window of the cab, assaulted the driver (including allegedly tearing his shirt), and then stripped naked in broad daylight on the busy public road.

Eyewitnesses said she was hurling abuses, picking up stones, and attempting to attack bystanders who tried to intervene, leading to significant traffic chaos and drawing a large crowd. Jawahar Circle Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The woman was covered and shifted to the Aprajita Centre at Jaipuria Hospital for medical care and to sober up. She reportedly regained sobriety the next day, claimed nothing untoward had happened, refused a medical examination, and returned to Himachal Pradesh on June 10.
