James Milner’s Pre-Match Talk Ahead Of Community Shield Shows His Importance

James Milner delivered another passionate speech pre-match, this time before playing Arsenal in the Community Shield final.

Liverpool are currently playing Arsenal in the Community Shield final and James Milner is once again showing his importance to Liverpool on and off the pitch.

In the pre-match warm-up, Milner was caught firing up his teammates ahead of their big game against Arsenal.

The deputy captain said that the team had to create their own atmosphere due to the lack of fans, and to all be together for the final.

Fans on Twitter loved to see Milner do this for their club, all reacting with praise for the Englishman. Milner joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Manchester City back in 2015.

Milner has played a plethora of positions at Liverpool such as both full-back positions and all over midfield. The deputy captain joined the Merseyside team back in 2015.

Liverpool will be looking to win their first Community Shield since 2006, qualifying for the final after winning the 2019/20 Premier League.

The Leeds United academy graduate has been incredibly successful at Liverpool with a UEFA Champions League trophy, Club World Cup, and Premier League trophy added to his trophy cabinet.
