Cristiano Ronaldo has won an arbitration case against his former club Juventus.
According to Sport Mediaset, on April 17th, the Arbitration Court ruled that Juventus must now pay the former forward €9.7 million plus interest.
It is worth recalling that Ronaldo initiated legal action against his former club due to unpaid wages totaling €19.5 million, stemming from two missed payments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, the arbitration court determined that the responsibility is shared between the star Portuguese player and Juventus, so the “Bianconeri” will pay only half of the unpaid salary plus interest.
Ronaldo left Turin in 2021 after a three-year spell at the club. During this time, he scored 101 goals in 134 matches.
In the current season, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 29 goals and provided 10 assists in 25 matches in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Nassr. However, the league’s main star is facing another suspension.
