Yeni Kuti recollected how she and Foluke worked on a job together many years ago and how the actress disrespected her.

62-year-old media personality, Yeni Anikulapo Kuti, has reacted to a video of Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola-Salako slamming Nigerian youths for lack of respect for their elders on social media.

In the video she posted on Tuesday, March 28, Foluke said that the new habit of young people insulting older ones on social media is a pandemic many people are ignoring.

She claimed that in the next five years, children will start beating up their parents if things are not addressed now.

Speaking about the video on TVC this morning, Yeni Kuti recollected how she and Foluke worked on a job together many years ago and how the actress disrespected her. She said Foluke may have forgotten, but she (Yeni) hasn’t, because she was on the receiving end.

While berating the youths for their ill manners on social media, Ms. Kuti added that people reap what they sow.

‘’Foluke Daramola. I like her. She is everything. I talk to her but I remember when she insulted me because I just googled her now. She is forty-five, I am sixty-two. We did a job (together). This is like about thirthy something years ago. I was only did what they asked me to do. I didn’t take money for the job. but the enmity I got from her was terrible. I am wondering if she remembers because I remember because it was done to me. Now she is demanding respect. You reap what you sow. Karma is a leveler” she said.
