Kayode Fayemi Spotted Attending Amosun’s Presidential Declaration



Within the past two days, at least three aspirants declared to vie for the APC’s presidential ticket in the forthcoming primaries holding from May 30 to June 1, 2022.

Kayode Fayemi, the Ekiti State Governor and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, was on Thursday spotted at the official presidential declaration ceremony of former Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, The PUNCH reports.

Fayemi who declared his intention to run for the Presidency barely 24 hours earlier was spotted by The PUNCH correspondent at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, the venue of Amosun’s presidential declaration ceremony.

Within the past two days, at least three aspirants declared to vie for the APC’s presidential ticket in the forthcoming primaries holding from May 30 to June 1, 2022.

They include Former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole and Governor Fayemi of Ekiti State.

In a meeting with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) on Tuesday night, the National Leader of the APC and presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, said more aspirants reflects a healthy Nigerian democracy.

“The more the merrier,” he said.
