Kilometer Remix Video Out Now – Exploring BNXN’s Partnership with OctaFX

Kilometer Remix Video Out Now – Exploring BNXN’s partnership with OctaFX

The much awaited music video for the song Kilometer remix is finally out! The Spaceship Records brilliant artist, Buju (BNXN) released the remix of one of his most popular sounds “Kilometer”, sometime in March 2022, collaborating with Marlian Music artiste, Zinoleesky. The video for the Kilometer Remix was delayed due to some technical issues, Buju told his fans on the microblogging platform Twitter

Daniel Benson aka Buju (Bnxn) is a 24 year old Nigerian Afro-fusion singer and songwriter who has single handedly written his name within the annals of the music industry. Clips throughout the Kilometer video boasts some serious Snowfall’s Jamming Jerome vibes – Make money, then celebrate with community. The sensational artist appeared to have, in the beginning of the film, made some profit trading cryptocurrency on OctaFX. The next scene opens with Bnxn’s lyrics implying that they were in fact “feeling good tonight”.

In late December 2021, the kids at one of the known orphanages in Nigeria had a lovely experience meeting the famed artist. For privacy reasons, Bnxn’s interaction with the children at the orphanage wasn’t filmed. One of the older children (we’ll call him Peter for the sake of this article), said his favourite part was the brief sing-along session Buju had with them.

Brooke Randolph once said “children without families are the most vulnerable people in the world”. For this context, I’ll take vulnerable to mean in need of special care, not just from the the staff at their care homes, but from everyone. I believe Bnxn’s visit and mini, intimate concert was a much needed pause from life’s lemons.

Following his visit to the orphanage, Bnxn released a video sponsored by OctaFX, showing what looked like young Buju making a wish “to be a superstar”. About 20 years later, Buju visits the orphanage to spread love to the children there. “I am here because of you”, Nigerian Afro-fusion singer, said to the kids at Motherless Babies Home Lagos implying that his visit was driven more by the good it did for the kids than his partnership with OctaFX.

With more creator partnerships, OctaFX is all in for advertising in Nigeria. With the recent development and release of the iOS app, OctaFX has now included the buzzing population of iPhone users to their audience. Looking forward to finding more creative collaborations from them within the music industry.
