Fans were pleasantly surprised to learn it was Zinedine Zidane who clicked Kylian Mbappe’s photo with Cristiano Ronaldo when the former was a young teen. 

As revealed in the PSG superstar’s newly-released comic book, Zizou gifted Mbappe a Real Madrid shirt and then took his photo with Ronaldo.

This explains Mbappe’s desire to play for Los Blancos and he’s likely to get his chance next summer. 

The Frenchman’s contract with PSG will come to an end in June 2022, with Real Madrid attempting to sign for free.
