A Nigerian lady has appealed to the public to help her plead with her mother after the woman used a new phone number to spy on her WhatsApp status and discovered she had been smoking at a club.

The lady shared the incident in a video posted on TikTok, where she explained what had happened.

In the video, she shows her face and provides a description of the event, with a caption that reads: “Your mom got a new sim to spy on you, make una help me beg this woman.”

According to the caption, the lady’s mother purchased a new SIM card to monitor her daughter’s WhatsApp activity.

After viewing a video of her smoking in a club, the mother was shocked and expressed her dismay, saying, “My life, Jesus, rescue me from Tope. She smokes excessively from her head, nose, and mouth when she isn’t ‘Otunba Lamba.’ So this is what you do? Even Fella is learning from you. I swear, I got a new sim just to check your status without you knowing.”
