Lady breaks silence on alleged night-time sexual abuse by elderly neighbor

A Nigerian lady has come forward on TikTok to share a disturbing experience of alleged sexual abuse by her elderly neighbor at night.

In the video post, she recounts the incident and offers advice to women living alone to stay vigilant and protect themselves from harassment.

She explains that she has a respectful relationship with this particular elderly neighbor, often exchanging casual conversations without any issues.

However, one night after returning from charging her gadgets due to a power outage, she describes how the neighbor suddenly approached her as she entered her home.

The neighbor touched her shoulder and began behaving in a way that made her uncomfortable.

As she tried to enter her room, he followed her, begging to sleep in her room.

She warns other women: “If you’re a young lady going through life alone, don’t allow anything to happen to you. You’re still going to be blamed for it.”

She detailed the night, saying, “Two nights ago, we had no light throughout, so I went out to charge my phone. I returned around 10 p.m. and entered my gated compound with my key.”

“As I was opening my door, the neighbor, who probably waited for me to come back, suddenly appeared. We talked briefly, but then he touched my shoulder and got closer, begging to sleep in my room. When I opened the door, he grabbed the door handle and I had to beg him to leave.”
