Lady shares video of living in Ajah container for ₦5,000 per month, says she raises her bed whenever it rains

A lady has shared her experience living in Ajah, highlighting the realities of housing challenges in the area.

In a video, she explained that she previously paid ₦5,000 monthly to stay in a container, which often got flooded whenever it rained.

According to her, she raises her bed each time to avoid water entering her sleeping space.

She also used the moment to advise people planning to move to Lagos to have some form of support system in place.

She said many ignore warnings about relocating without having someone to rely on or stay with temporarily.

The lady went on to show a new apartment she recently secured, but expressed disappointment over its size.

Despite how small it appeared, she revealed that she paid a total of ₦280,000 for the space.
