Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has responded to growing public concern over his wellbeing after a video showing him in Abuja sparked widespread reactions on social media.

The actor broke his silence in a new video shared by a man who claimed to have met him on Tuesday.

In the clip, Anuku appeared calm as he addressed the attention generated by the viral footage.

Responding to those expressing concern, the veteran actor insisted that he was doing fine and urged Nigerians to focus on the country’s challenges instead of worrying about him.

“Y’all haven’t seen anything yet. Y’all should face your government and leave me the hell alone. If you don’t have a better thing to do go do something, I’m good,” he said.

His remarks come days after a video circulated online showing the actor lying by the roadside in the Wuse 2 area of Abuja.

In the footage, he was seen talking to himself while holding a disposable cup, prompting widespread speculation about his condition.
