Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane substituted the French ace in the second half with Mariano Diaz, Benzema felt uncomfortable with the with his left leg but despite no test having taken place, it doesn’t seem like a serious injury.

Fortunately for Real Madrid and Zidane, the injury came when the players are about to resume international duties with their respective countries, this will allow Benzema to rest for two weeks and recover to his full fitness ahead of the tight schedule ahead for the La Liga Champions.
