A TikTok user has posted a video showing viewers through a block of flats in his neighbourhood, stating that the derelict building is “allegedly owned by a politician” who never rented out or sold the project.

Though the clip doesn’t name the estate owner, it quickly resonated with Nigerians frustrated by high-profile, unfulfilled real-estate schemes.
