Man recalls when police officers allegedly arrested him in Ilorin for ‘having N375k in his account’

A young man, Ahmad has taken to X to accuse Nigerian police officers of arresting him in Ilorin, Kwara state capital, three years ago, because he “had 375,000 in his account.”

Opening up about the trauma he has lived with for three years, he wrote;

“On this day three years ago, men of the Nigerian police force, Ilorin branch arrested me for having 375k in my account. They slapped me severally and tried to force me to admit that I was into fraud. Long story short, I’m still dealing with the trauma,” he wrote on Tuesday, January 14.
