Man whose fiancée was crushed by truck weeks to wedding dies under troubling circumstances

Loveday Ezukuse, the man who expressed his grief in 2020 when his fiancée Immaculate Emife Okochu was crushed to death by a truck, has passed on 6 years after the tragedy. 

In August 2020, Immaculate was on her way to her job at a popular ice cream subsidiary when a truck plowed her down in Ajah, Lagos, and she died on the spot. It was just weeks to her wedding. 

Her fiancé Loveday shared a moving post, mourning her. 

Sadly, according to friends, Loveday never recovered and was depressed for years. 

Many said they tried to reach out to him and offered help. However, no one could pull him out of depression. 

They got worried when he made his social media accounts private. 

Sadly, he has now passed on. 

Comments from some friends allude to alleged su!cide but this was not officially confirmed by his family. 
 

Loveday will be laid to rest this Friday, May 22. He leaves behind a daughter.
