Martial: Harry Kane Is A Top Player, I Enjoy Watching Him.

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has hailed Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as a quality, entertaining player.

Kane made his first-team breakthrough at Spurs last season after he netted 21 league goals in 34 games, which really started to make heads turn across Europe.

And despite a slow start to the current campaign, the former Millwall and Leicester City loanee has proven he is no ‘one season wonder’ by netting a stunning 22 goals in 32 league games so far this campaign.

Kane was rewarded for his recent fine form by winning the Premier League Player of the Month award for March on Friday.

The Red Devils travel to White Hart Lane to take on second placed Spurs in a vital encounter and ahead of the game Martial has given his thoughts on just how good Kane is.

“He’s a top player and he’s also still only young,” Martial told United’s official website. “He had a great season last year and he’s underlined just how good he is this time around.

“He’s a quality player who is very entertaining to watch.”

Martial has been in fantastic form of late himself and last week’s strike against Everton took him to the top of Manchester United’s Premier League goalscoring charts for this season.

The 20-year-old, who continues to play down the left-hand side to accommodate Marcus Rashford more centrally, will be hoping to take his good form to the capital and help the Red Devils in their pursuit of a top four place.
