A woman reported missing in Alabama for more than a week has been found dead, while a man has been charged in connection with the case.
According to local reports, Karen Deann Hollis, 23, was reported missing on May 8, prompting concern from friends and family members who feared for her safety. Relatives reportedly said Hollis suffered from a condition that could affect her judgment, increasing fears after she disappeared.

Authorities later confirmed that her body was discovered on Saturday, May 16. Few details surrounding the circumstances of her death have been publicly released. However, Randall Lendell Dejourney, 44, has been charged with abuse of a corpse in relation to the case.
Officials said an autopsy is expected to be conducted immediately, with investigators indicating that additional charges could follow depending on the findings. According to jail records, Dejourney is currently being held at the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $15,000 cash bail.
