Mixed reactions as actor Ugezu Ugezu shares video of himself performing a blood ritual for relatives scattered around the world

Actor Ugezu Ugezu has sparked mixed reactions after sharing a video showing him performing a blood ritual for the betterment of relatives. 

The actor is seen holding a plate containing some items while praying over other items scattered on the floor. 

Blood can be seen on the floor along with other items. Ugezu said it is the blood of a ram, and the prayer was done for umu nwadiana, the children born to all married daughters of the community. 

He added that it is “100%” tradition and not juju or charms. 
 

The video was well received by some and criticised by others, particularly because of the blood.
