(Q) Can We Know Who Prophet SSP Is?

(ANS) Prophet SSP aka Africa Anti Virus, is Ikwerre Born prince , a Highlife prophet, who live , sleep and wake in Music.

(Q) Do You Reside/Stay In Nigeria? If No, Why Do You Choose To Do Music Outside Nigeria?

(ANS) I don’t reside in Nigeria. I chose doing music outside Nigeria because, here is conducive and less pressure.

(Q) What Kind of Music Do You Do/Sing?

(ANS) I do Songs with African melody/vibes to keep our culture alive.

(Q) Who Would You Look Up To In The Music Industry Right Now?

(ANS) I don’t have anybody in this generation, I look upto . But in music, I look upto Oliver de coque.

(Q) Will You Like To Be Compared With Anybody Doing The Same Style of Your Music?

(ANS) I hate Comparison. Originality all the way.

(Q) Your Recent Single “Zoom Money”, What Inspired You To Do It?
Were You In Contact With Mr P?

(ANS) Mr P Zoom Money program inspired me. I was never in contact with him, but love what he is doing.

(Q) As an export from the south-east, how has your music fared so Far?

(ANS) I’m not from South East but South South. I will say my people, love what I’m doing, inclusively, the south easterners. So my music is doing well.

(Q) Do you often get compared to Phyno since your style of music is
almost similar?

(ANS) I don’t run comparison, I repeat. And I don’t do the same style of music with Phyno.

(Q) Do You Feel Bad When Compared To Your Role Models In The
Music Industry?

(ANS) I don’t , because we are entitle to our opinion.

(Q) What Inspired The Name Prophet SSP?

(ANS) Prophet Elisha.

(Q) You have a great following in the South-East, how has the
reception been in Other Part Of The World?

(ANS) Yes in the South east , they love my kind of music. And my fans call me across the globe . That means outside Nigeria, my music is appreciated.

(Q) What specifically are we expecting from you this year?

(ANS) This year is a year to rebrand Highlife music.

(Q) How do you see the music industry now?

(ANS) Music industry now is filled up with amateur singers with low lyrics.

(Q) What are some of the specific challenges that have to be addressed?

(ANS) Lyrics. Musicians need to watch what language or lyrics they dish out to the fans , for it can make or destroy them.
