“My wife doesn’t really cook, I enjoy cooking” — Banky W opens up on marriage and IVF journey

Nigerian singer and pastor Banky W has shared insights into his marriage with actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, revealing that he handles most of the cooking at home.

Speaking during an interview with Teju Babyface, he explained that cooking is something he genuinely enjoys, especially after witnessing what his wife went through during their journey to having children.

According to him, Adesua endured multiple IVF cycles that didn’t work, yet kept going, a process he described as humbling and one that showed a level of strength he believes surpasses his own.

He said seeing her make such sacrifices, including pausing her career at certain points, changed his perspective on responsibilities at home, making it impossible for him to complain about tasks like cooking.

Banky W added that the experience brought them closer as a couple and strengthened their faith, despite the challenges they faced along the way.
