Nigerian father warns women against marrying a man who expects them to pause their careers and take care of the home alone

A Nigerian father has warned women against pausing their careers to take care of the home alone. 
 

He added that apart from being pregnant and giving birth, there is no other duty in the home that a man cannot do alongside his wife. 

He stated that kids and the home belong to the mother and father and that fathers have to also be involved in their children’s lives, rather than expecting the mothers to take 7 years away from their careers to do so. 
 

He then gave an example of how he is very involved in the lives of his children. 

He said this after internet commentator Solomon Buchi urged women to pause their careers for 7 years to raise their children.
