Nigerians on social media have roasted Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for not standing with the constitution and the people the way United States Vice President Mike Pence defended his country’s constitution against his own party yesterday.

 Recall that Mr Pence had taken a stand against the wishes of President Donald Trump urging him not to certify the election of President-elect Joe Biden. He followed the constitution and certified Biden’s win against the wishes of his party and that of President Trump, proving that institutions are stronger than individuals. Unlike in America, Nigerians slammed Mr Osinbajo for his alleged cowardice to go against his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari, in standing up for Nigerians and the Nigerian Constitution to end the administration’s alleged impunity. Below are some reactions of Nigerian youths gathered by DAILY NIGERIAN from Twitter:
