Retail outlets of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) have increased the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol.
NNPCL raised their petrol price from N1,155 per litre to N1,270 per litre in Abuja and environs.
That means the price per litre was increased by N115.
Other petrol stations also raised their petrol prices.
Amid the increment, some NNPCL and MRS filling stations in Abuja have closed.
In less than a week, depot owners and marketers have already increased their petrol prices twice.
This comes after Dangote Refinery resumed the sale of refined petroleum products in dollars.
