“No Nigerian will be born again if you preach hell to them. They are already in hell” — Pastor Ibiyeomie

Pastor David Ibiyeomie has urged Christians to focus on God’s love and compassion when preaching to Nigerians.

Speaking during a sermon, the clergyman said preaching about h£ll may not be effective because many Nigerians already see their difficult circumstances as a form of hell.

He said a better approach would be to tell people that Jesus loves them and can change their story, arguing that such a message would receive a better response.

“Tell them Jesus loves you. He can change your story,” he said.
