A churchgoer took to Twitter to make the shocking revelation over the weekend.

A Nigerian pharmacist has expressed shock after her pastor warned church members not to send less than N1k to the church’s account as offering.

The lady took to her Twitter page to narrate the unbelievable encounter.

“Something happened at church today and it pissed me off, The pastor came down from the altar and told everyone to bring out their offering while inspecting it from seat to seat. It was so weird because he added no one should transfer less than 1k to the church account,” she wrote. 

“The way the camera will face your offering envelope while you bring out your 500 naira was so unnecessary, men of God should do better.”
