Media personality D English Alhaji has raised alarm over the worsening insecurity in Nigeria, saying no part of the country is safe anymore as attacks continue to spread.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he claimed citizens are now exposed to danger at any time of the day, stressing that insecurity has become unpredictable and increasingly violent.
“Nigerians, it is getting worse. As it stands right now, nobody is safe in this country. No minute is safe. No time is safe. No day is safe. In the morning, afternoon, night they can attack you,” he said.
According to him, on June 8, 2026, between 3pm and 4pm, armed bandits attacked a drilling company in Magun, a community under Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
He alleged that the attackers stormed the Chinese-owned facility, killed a soldier on duty, and abducted some workers during the operation.
D English Alhaji added that the incident happened in broad daylight, highlighting how bold the attackers have become in recent times.
“They don’t enter West. Fully, they don’t enter. We’ve been shouting this thing, people were saying it’s only happening in the North. Now it is now in the West,” he said.
He further claimed that during their attempted escape, the attackers reportedly encountered a team of military personnel, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
He added that the situation resulted in casualties before the attackers fled the scene.
Many reactions have continued online as Nigerians express concern over the spread of insecurity to different parts of the country, especially the South-West.
