NSCDC official bags seven years imprisonment over employment fraud, others

An officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, identified as Mr. Solomon Ogodo, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for forgery, employment fraud, and racketeering.

Justice M.S. Idris of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Jabi, Abuja, delivered the judgement..

This a coming after a case was filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC.

Mr. Ogodo was accused of defrauding job seekers of N12,200,000 by promising to secure employment for their relatives in the Nigeria Correctional Services.
