Anthony Nwakaeme is in talks with LaLiga club, Real Valladolid, according to reports in Turkey.

Nwakaeme severed ties with Turkish Super Lig champions, Trabzonspor in June.

The Nigerian and Trabzonspor failed to agree on terms for a new contract prompting the striker to end his stay at the club.

The 33-year-old held recently held talks with Al Ittihad, Galatasaray, and Hull City but all the discussions failed to yield positive fruit.

Real Valladolid are now the frontrunners for his signature.

Nwakaeme scored 47 goals and provided 73 assists in 144 games for Trabzonspor.
