One missing in lagoon, many injured as bus crashes on 3rd mainland bridge (video)

A yet-to-be-identified person is said to be missing in the Lagoon after a commercial bus crashed on the newly renovated 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos state today, April 10.

A Nigerian nurse who was involved in the accident, claimed the accident was caused by the front tyre of the commercial bus.  He wrote;

‘’The bus I entered had an accident on 3rd mainland bridge this morning, one person is missing in the water, the front tyre of the bus caused it, These yellow buses are unfit to plough the road, risking people’s lives, I thank God for our lives, i pray the missing person will be found.”

The videos he shared showed a man with a hand injury. Passersby could be seen beckoning to some fishermen working in the river to help save the life of the person who reportedly plunged into the Lagoon after the accident.
