GROWTH
Open-Xus Tech Services experienced it major growth in February 2017 when it began consultation for 9jaflaver.com (One Of Nigeria most popular blog for free download) and also Alpha Chemicom Ltd.

In 2018 the firm continued to grow after it started Website design and management package. Graphics design and hardware maintenance followed after it gained more staff strength.

FINANCING
Open-Xus financing started from the founder. He said “I had to work 20 – 22 hours a day to see a start-up firm created.

I worked from the Cyber Café, home and do home call. I just wanted to see it up there, training myself and putting the money in my education was not easy when you look at the monthly pay and challenges you face in such an unfavorable time and clime. The firm was not fully registered because of financial issue until 2018 when it began to see its growth and major changes. Still facing some setbacks but since it’s a start-up, the team over here believe it will grow to become a dream organisation”.

Open-Xus is still currently financed by the founder Ogboo Ikechukwu Joseph.

2018 0NWARD
From 2018 Open-Xus Tech Services client base increased. It began to fully consult for major website in Nigeria and Entertainment blogs. It partnered with key players in the I.T. industry and also students from Higher Educational Institutions in Web and App Development.

In June 2018 it partnered with ROF Entertainment on digital video making.

MARKETING STRATEGY
Open-Xus Tech Services company is marketed on website in Nigeria. In an interview with 9jaflaver.com media, the founder said “he preferred to market using digital marketing system because it reaches a wide audience and influence their choice”.

CHALLENGES
In an interview with Ogboo Ikechukwu Joseph who heads the firm.

“my major challenge is skilled workforce and power. You know we have a country where the power is not stable and the workforce out there are in a rush not for knowledge but for fast money. I think if you see how the firm has transitioned, you will understand it takes Grace for one to survive in such climes. We hope things are fixed especially the power system in this country. I wish to add more skilled workforce and also partner with other high-tech firm to improve the vision and dream of this startup tech firm”.

PLANS FOR MERGER
In March 2018, it planned to merge with a company “name-withheld” but fallout from negotiation and profit management ended the merger deal.

OFFICE SPACE
Open-Xus operates a virtual office space. Workers and partners can work from home or any location or book a meeting with a client at a reserved location.

In July 2018, the founder revealed he has a plan for Office Space in F.C.T Abuja, Nigeria but the cost of it made him to have a change of mind and maintain its virtual office space until income and profits increases.

Open-Xus Tech Services has over 100 clients in Nigeria. Some of its major clients are Alpha Chemicom Ltd which deals in scientific and laboratory system management, Mahadum Education and Consultancy Limited, Pure Equila, Fansarwa Care, ED Mickey Consultancy and also designed and managed popular blogs in Nigeria
