“Parts of my body are swollen” – Pete Edochie opens up about health struggles, reveals his deepest wish

Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has opened up about his health struggles, revealing that walking has become difficult for him as he continues to hope for recovery.

In a video circulating online, the actor, who is currently in Ghana to shoot a film, disclosed that parts of his body sometimes become swollen, including his hand and leg, but the swelling later subsides.

Pete Edochie explained that he now needs assistance to walk but remains hopeful that his condition will improve.

“I’m not very well myself. Walking is a problem for me now, but I still have hope that I will recover myself. Sometimes I get up and parts of my body are swollen, and then after some time they go down again, like my hand is swollen now and my leg.

“I just keep asking God: You are the author of life. Whenever you feel it is time for me to go, just take me. Don’t let me bother the people who are around me now. Just take me,” he revealed.

The actor’s prayer reflected his desire to avoid becoming a burden to those around him while expressing his acceptance of whatever the future holds.

Pete Edochie’s revelation has drawn attention from fans and well-wishers, with many expressing concern and wishing the veteran actor strength and recovery.
