Streams of Joy International, the church founded by Pastor Jerry Eze, has responded to a viral video in which a woman identified as Sandra Okpara claimed that she mistakenly transferred N1,640,200 while attempting to send money to her Zenith Bank account.
The woman had said the money was meant for other people and appealed for help after the alleged erroneous transfer.
In a statement, Streams of Joy said it became aware of the claim through the video circulating online, but maintained that the church had not received any prior communication from the woman concerning the alleged transaction.
The church said it routinely receives and resolves reports of erroneous transactions through a verification process and urged Okpara to contact it through its official channels with the relevant transaction details.
On X, they wrote …
“We have become aware of this claim through the video circulating online. However, prior to its publication, we had not received any call, email, direct message or formal complaint from the individual regarding the alleged erroneous transfer.
“Streams of Joy routinely receives and resolves reports of erroneous transactions through the appropriate verification process. We therefore invite the individual to contact us directly via our official channels and provide the transaction details so the matter can be promptly investigated and resolved.
“Our team remains available and committed to addressing all genuine concerns transparently and responsibly.”
