PDP Senatorial Candidate, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Condemns Bomb Attack In Kogi, Commiserates With Victims’ Families
The Kogi Central Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has condemned the bomb blast in Okene Local Government Area on Thursday which left three people dead and several others injured.
The PDP senatorial candidate described the attack which happened close to the palace of the paramount traditional ruler and Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, as an attack on the entire Ebira people and the height of inhumanity by the perpetrators.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the PDP/ Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Campaign Organization (NAUCO) on Thursday.
She noted that Ebira people are not known for such evil. Akpoti-Uduaghan, however, called on well-meaning Ebira people to remain resolute in ridding Ebira land of criminals.
She called on relevant security agencies to bring the perpetrators and their collaborators to justice.
While praying for the souls of the victims of the explosion to find repose in God, the PDP senatorial candidate asked God to grant their families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
