The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has scored a significant victory in the ongoing presidential election, winning the Aso Rock polling unit with a total of 131 votes. This is a huge setback for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, who received only 17 votes in the polling unit.

Aso Rock is the official residence of the Nigerian President and is considered a significant polling unit in the country. The unit has a total of 743 registered voters.
