She explained that she initially bought semo and served it with the soup, but her guest declined the meal, saying he only ate fufu. She then went back out to buy fufu and prepared it for him.

The lady said, “Yesterday humbled me.My husband’s eldest brother came from the East, so I quickly went to a shop close by to buy semo since I had soup in my freezer. I served him the food. he asked which swallow is this? I told him, it’s semo. He said he doesn’t eat semo. I asked if eba would be okay? He replied, I only eat fufu. I rushed out again,bought fufu, warmed it and served him. He touched it and shouted , bia nwanyi, why did you give me strong fufu, don’t you know you have to pound it and make it soft. I became speechless. I was like, pound fufu in 2026? My own husband has never complained about fufu being strong before”
