A pregnant woman has sought help after her husband proposed naming their first child after one of her ex-boyfriends, a name that deeply traumatized her.

In an anonymous post shared on the popular social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the woman revealed that she and her husband had begun discussing names for their baby when he suggested a particular one.

However, she expressed her discomfort with the name, explaining that it belonged to an ex who had caused her significant emotional pain.

She stated, “I’m pregnant. My husband and I are looking for a name for our baby. He suggested a name, but I told him I don’t want it because it’s the name of one of my exes, and it traumatized me a lot.”

Despite her objections, her husband insisted that he had always loved the name and had dreamed of naming his child after it.

She added, “He’s now saying he grew up loving the name and always wanted to name his child that. Right now, I’m not happy because I don’t want to hate my child.”
