President Tinubu graduated with a first class. I met his classmates in the US – Education Minister

The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, has described President Bola Tinubu as a genius, saying the President graduated with a first class in accounting from Chicago State University in the United States.

Alausa stated this during Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ programme on Tuesday, November 3.

The Minister urged Nigerians to disregard the criticism by the opposition challenging President Bola Tinubu’s academic credentials. He confirmed that President Tinubu attended Chicago State University and graduated with first class in Accounting.

“This president is also the first internationally exposed president, a president that studied in America, that had first class in Accounting. I know the university, Chicago State University. Forget the nonsense the opposition is peddling. I’m telling you hardcore facts. I’ve been to that university so many times. The University has hosted the President”

Asked whether he had seen Tinubu’s classmates from the university, Alausa said, “Oh, many, many, many in person!”

When asked whether he could confirm Tinubu’s brillance, the minister said, “He is a genius. Let’s not talk about the capability of this president alone. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is literally a genius”.

“I have been to the University of Chicago, and I met so many of President Tinubu’s classmates in person. He is literally a genius.”

There have been controversy surrounding claims that the President attended the University of Chicago.
