Nineteen secondary school students have been expelled after they allegedly snuck out of the school premises to swim in a river, resulting in the tragic drowning of one of their classmates.
The incident was revealed in a post shared on TikTok, where an individual speaking on behalf of the school confirmed the expulsion of the students due to their actions.
According to the post, a group of about 20 students left the school without permission to swim in a nearby river.
Unfortunately, one of them drowned during the outing and did not make it out alive.
In a video attached to the post, a woman—believed to be a school authority—was seen addressing the students. She informed them that they had all been dismissed but could be allowed to write their final exams under certain conditions.
