“Schools are still open while students are being kidn@pp£d, what’s happening in this country ?”- Falz joins his father Femi Falana SAN to protest in Lagos over rising insecurity in Nigeria

Nigerian musician and activist Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz, alongside his father, prominent human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), joined a nationwide protest on June 12, 2026 (Nigeria’s Democracy Day) to challenge worsening insecurity and economic hardship across the country.

Organized by a broad coalition of civil society organizations (CSOs), labour unions, the demonstrations aim to stop the rising wave of persistent killings and kidnappings across the country.
