A woman in Delta state has taken her own life.

 The 50-year-old mother of four, identified as Florence Owa reportedly took her own life by drinking a substance believed to be Sniper, a deadly insecticide. 

Owa was found dead on Tuesday at her house in Sapele, Delta State, by one of her children.  

It was gathered that the deceased had been sick for some time and was recently discharged from the hospital. A family member said the deceased was met lifeless after drinking a bottle of Sniper before she was eventually confirmed dead by a medical doctor.

 The source added that her corpse had been deposited at the morgue for an autopsy. He added that Florence, popularly called Floxy, had been battling depression for a while.
