Seun Kuti tackles people mocking him for ’tapping into his father’s glory’

Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti has fired back at critics who frequently accuse him of “tapping into the glory” of his legendary father, the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. 

Over the weekend, the singer addressed long-standing, critical narratives from some Nigerians who argue that he relies on his father’s immense star power to maintain relevance within the music industry.
