Sister of NYSC corps member shot in Abuja speaks out, alleges soldiers stormed home, shot him and called it a “mistake”

The sister of the NYSC corps member who was recently shot in Abuja has spoken out, sharing her account of what happened.

In a video, she alleged that soldiers entered their compound by climbing over the fence while chasing suspected thieves. According to her, they went straight into her brother’s room and shot him twice without any provocation.

She further claimed that after the incident, the soldiers cleaned up the blood stains in the house and later described the shooting as a “mistake.”

This comes after the Nigerian Army confirmed the death of an NYSC member in Abuja
